poema arcaico (poema)

Um silenciamento 
anterior e primitivo, 
uma fonte oca. 
Onde esse meu poema arcaico 
ainda não está, 
embora seja este o único lugar 
em que esta poesia se cria,
porém, não por vontade...
mas por acréscimo...

A stillness
anterior and primitive,
a hollow fountain.
Where this my ancient poem
is still not there,
yet this is the only place
in which this poetry creates itself,
not, however, by willing...
but by happening...
